Flooding Photo GalleryHere is a collection of some flooding photography that I have done over the past few years that are sorted out by the different events that happened. 1 06/08/2006 I got on some major flash flooding in Brandenberg Montana. I was following a severe storm through the foot hills of Montana and found Briscoe Creek. Briscoe Creek which is part of the Tongue River is normally a little to nothing creek according to the locals I talked to, but today it grew to 100 yards wide in a massive flash flooding event. Brandenberg Montana is just north of Ashland Montana and off of Highway 212 and Tongue River Road in Rosebud County. The large storms trained over the same area and created the flash flooding event that pretty much destroyed one farm. 2 Here is the collection of photographs that I took while covering the major catastrophic flooding event that hit southeaster Minnesota on 08/19/2007. These photographs were taken around the town of Beaver, MN and just south of Wabasha MN. 3 During the overnight hours of 10/01/2007, Dodge County Minnesota was hit with heavy rains which caused flash flooding along the Zumbro River. Here is a collection of photographs I took during the overnight and early morning hours. |
